Gustafson Gluek Announces New Partners
Gustafson Gluek is pleased to announce that Bailey Twyman-Metzger and Mary Nikolai have been promoted to partner effective January 1, 2026.
Bailey Twyman-Metzger
Since joining Gustafson Gluek in 2023, Bailey has made significant contributions to our antitrust, consumer protection, and complex data breach practice areas. Bailey is a key member of the antitrust team in In re DPP Beef Litigation, where the firm serves as one of four co-leads and has already secured a $52.5 million settlement. She has also been instrumental in In re Fragrances Indirect Purchaser Antitrust Litigation and 3M Combat Ear Plugs Litigation. Bailey has been named a North Star Lawyer for providing over 50 hours of pro bono legal services in a year. She has also been recognized as a Minnesota Lawyer Up-and-Coming Attorney(2025), which honors a select group of lawyers in their first decade of practice who are making a significant impact within their organizations and communities.
Mary Nikolai
Mary has been a vital part of Gustafson Gluek since 2019, making contributions to consumer protection, product defects, and data privacy cases. Mary has played a critical role in the In re: Change Healthcare, Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, where Gustafson Gluek has been appointed Overall Lead Counsel. Mary also represented and ultimately assisted in the settlement of several former members of the nationwide FLSA collective action alleging off-the-clock work in arbitrations throughout the country. Turner et al v. Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (D. Colo.) Mary has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in Minnesota for 2025 by Super Lawyers. She has also been recognized as a North Star Lawyer for providing over 50 hours of pro bono legal services in a year. Mary’s dedication extends to impactful pro bono work; she was honored as a Minnesota Attorney of the Year in 2022 for her excellent work in a Federal Tort Claims Act case against the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
