Gustafson Gluek Attorneys Honored as Attorneys of the Year

Gustafson Gluek PLLC is proud to congratulate Amanda Williams, Cathy Smith and Mary Nikolai, our team of attorneys who have been recognized as Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Lawyers for their work on a pro bono matter entitled Brewster et al. v. United States.  This team from Gustafson Gluek took on this very challenging case asserting claims against the Veterans Affairs Medical Center over injuries sustained by the Plaintiff during his surgery and treatment at this facility. Over the course of three years, attorneys, Williams, Smith and Nikolai, spent countless hours on discovery, expert reports, depositions, motions practice, and settlement negotiations. Finally, despite significant legal challenges and highly impassioned clients, they were able to obtain a six-figure settlement for their clients.  We are proud of their hard work and dedication to justice and congratulate them on this well-deserved award.
