Gustafson Gluek Welcomes New Attorneys

Gustafson Gluek is pleased to introduce three new associates joining the firm this fall. Please join us in welcoming Emily Egart, Gabrielle Kolb, and Lydia Lockwood. We are excited to see the contributions these exceptional individuals will bring to our firm!

Lydia Lockwood

Lydia Lockwood is a recent graduate from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she also received a Law and Health Care Certificate. During her time at Maryland, Lydia earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Fraud and Abuse. Lydia also served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy. She was actively involved in the Student Health Law Organization and the Women’s Bar Association. Before joining Gustafson Gluek, Lydia gained experience as a Supervisory Student Attorney and Public Policy Lead, and before that was a Student Attorney at the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic. Lydia was a Law Clerk at the Federation of State Medical Boards, and also served as a Legal Intern at GCOM Software Company.

Gabrielle Kolb

Gabrielle Kolb just finished a judicial clerkship with the Minnesota Supreme Court, where she clerked for the Honorable Chief Justice, Natalie E. Hudson. Gabrielle graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law with summa cum laude honors. At St. Thomas, she earned several academic awards, including Dean’s Awards in Property Law, Criminal Law, and Family Law. Gabrielle also has a publication in the St. Thomas Law Journal, where she served as the Membership Editor. In addition to her editorial role, she was actively involved in the Women’s Law Student Association.

Emily Egart

Emily Egart is a recent graduate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she also received a Law & Business Certificate. At Mitchell Hamline, Emily served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review and earned a place on the Dean’s List. Emily has contributed to various legal publications, including a piece on the criminalization of mental illness and substance use disorder. Before joining Gustafson Gluek, Emily gained valuable experience as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Donovan W. Frank at the United States District Court, District of Minnesota.
