Michelle Looby Appointed Co-Lead Counsel in Indirect Reseller Fragrance Case

We are excited to announce that Michelle Looby, Co-Chair of Gustafson Gluek’s antitrust division, has been appointed by the United States District Court of New Jersey to serve as Indirect Purchase Plaintiffs’ Interim Co-Lead Class Counsel in In re: Fragrances Indirect Purchaser Antitrust Litigation.

Gustafson Gluek, along with its co-counsel, represent a proposed class of indirect purchasers of fragrances and fragrance ingredients against the worlds’ largest manufacturers of fragrances – Firmenich, Givaudan, Symrise and International Flavors & Fragrances.  Plaintiffs allege that the defendants conspired to fix, raise, maintain, and stabilize the prices of fragrances causing indirect purchasers to pay more than they would have in a competitive market for these fragrances.

Congratulations to Michelle and good luck to her and the Co-Lead team.
