Chief Judge Davis Recognizes Gustafson Gluek for Pro Se Project Involvement

At the November FBA monthly luncheon, Chief Judge Davis presented Dan Gustafson, Cathy Smith, and Melanie Morgan with awards recognizing their outstanding service, commitment, and contribution to the Pro Se Project.Chief Judge Davis recognized Dan Gustafson for being one of the four attorneys who rose to the Court's challenge and made the Project into a reality. Cathy Smith received recognition for her advocacy on behalf of a mentally ill pro se plaintiff which resulted in a successful change to Hennepin County's policies for the detention of inmates with mental health issues. Melanie Morgan received recognition for running the Pro Se Project for more than a year while also completing her demanding work as a paralegal.
