Politics in Minnesota Highlights MSOP Case

Politics in Minnesota has published an article summarizing the Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) case in which Gustafson Gluek represents a class of MSOP patients. Gustafson Gluek recently filed motions on be half of the class asking that the Court declare the statute authorizing the civil commitment program to be unconstitutional, that the Court require the state to create less restrictive alternatives to the current facilities, and to appoint a special master to oversee the program.
