2025 Top Women in Law: Michelle Looby

Gustafson Gluek congratulates Michelle Looby on being selected a Top Women in Law by Minnesota Lawyer. This award recognizes the outstanding achievements of women in the legal profession across Minnesota, celebrating their excellence, leadership, and commitment to the legal community.

Since joining the firm, Michelle has been a driving force in major class action lawsuits across the country, taking on complex cases in antitrust and consumer protection law. Michelle’s work in the courtroom has earned her leadership roles in some of the most impactful cases in her field, and her commitment to justice has helped secure meaningful outcomes for clients nationwide.

Outside the courtroom, she’s just as active—mentoring others, serving on the Advisory Board of the American Antitrust Institute (AAI), contributing to legal publications, and sharing her insights by speaking at CLEs and conferences on class actions and antitrust. Additionally, Michelle co-founded and now serves as Co-Chair of the Antitrust Committee of the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. She continues to inspire others through her purposeful and passionate leadership.
