Gustafson Gluek’s Abou Amara to Moderate MLK Day Conversation With Valerie Jarrett, Obama Foundation CEO

On January 16, 2023, Gustafson Gluek attorney Abou Amara will serve as moderator for the United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) 33rd annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Breakfast.  The theme of this year’s breakfast is Keep Moving Forward.  2023 marks the 33-year legacy of UNCF leadership in the Twin Cities, and is a landmark event known for uniting the Twin Cities community and benefitting UNCF Twin Cities academic scholars.  The goal of the annual MLK Breakfast is to celebrate the legacy of service of Dr. King and create an imperative to live out his legacy today in our homes, our communities, and our world.  

The Keynote Speaker for the 2023 MLK Breakfast is Ms. Valerie Jarrett—longtime senior advisor to Former U.S. President Barack Obama, and current Chief Executive Officer of the Barack Obama Foundation.

Abou Amara will lead a discussion with Ms. Jarrett about her personal journey in law, politics, business, and how her life experiences were inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
