Cy Pres Funds Awarded to Washburn Center for Children

On July 18, 2013, Chief Judge Michael J. Davis of the United States District Court of the District of Minnesota signed an Order Allocating Cy Pres Funds to the Washburn Center for Children from the Medtronic, Inc. Implantable Defibrillator Product Liability Litigation Settlement. Dan Gustafson and Charles Zimmerman, co-lead counsel of the Medtronic Settlement, selected the Washburn Center for Children as a cy pres beneficiary due to the organization’s stand-out achievements in changing the lives of children.
