Amanda Williams Joins The Infinity Project Board
Gustafson Gluek congratulates Amanda Williams on her recent nomination and election to the board of the Infinity Project.
The Infinity Project was founded in 2006 and its mission is to increase the gender diversity of the state and federal bench in order to ensure the quality of justice in the Eighth Circuit. Amanda Williams is looking forward to working with this important organization, stating, "The mission of the Infinity Project is vital to helping the judicial branch mirror our country. As a long-time supporter, I am excited to join the board of the Infinity Project and the important work they do – pushing to make the judicial bench better reflect everyone." Amanda Williams is a member of the Firm, having joined Gustafson Gluek in 2005. She is an active member of several bar associations serving both local and national areas of interest. She is also a member of the Minnesota Women Lawyers and has previously served as committee chair for the Minnesota Women Lawyer Scholarship Fund as well as the liaison board member to the Hennepin County Board Association. In addition to her representation of clients in large mass tort and complex litigation, Amanda has committed hundreds of hours to the representation of pro se litigants through the Federal Bar Associations’ Pro Se Project. Amanda was recognized by the Minnesota Chapter of the FBA with the “Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award” in 2011, has been recognized as a North Star Lawyer for providing at least 50 hours of pro bono legal service in a calendar year, and was part of a team selected as one of Minnesota Lawyer’s Attorneys of the Year in 2017.
