Gustafson Gluek Welcomes a New Attorney
Gustafson Gluek is pleased to introduce a new associate joining the firm this summer. Please join us in welcoming Michael Warkel. We are excited to see the contributions that he will bring to our firm!
Michael J. Warkel completed a clerkship for Judge Martin S. Fallon in the First Judicial District of Minnesota. He is a recent graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he also received a Law and Business Certificate. At Mitchell Hamline, Michael served as the Managing Editor of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. He graduated cum laude and was named to the Dean’s List multiple times. His student note, “Major Questions Impede Major Progress,” examining the Major Questions Doctrine and environmental regulation, was published in the Law Review. Before joining Gustafson Gluek, Michael gained valuable experience, clerking at an Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation Firm, externing for the Legal Services Unit at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and a fellowship with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office through the ABA’s Janet D. Steiger Fellowship. He also served as Student Director of the Law and Business Center and President of the Antitrust Society.
