Blue Cross Motion to Dismiss Denied

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Hood denied Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's motion to dismiss a class action which claims Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's use of most-favored-nation clauses in its contracts with hospitals violated antitrust laws.In an interview with Law360, Dan Gustafson expressed his satisfaction with Judge Hood's ruling and stated that he was looking forward to vindicating the rights of the potential class.Judge Hood previously appointed Gustafson Gluek PLLC and three other firms as Interim Class Counsel for the proposed class.
